Jamie Carragher shares bizarre update Everton have just confirmed to him personally
Jamie Carragher has been left amused after what Everton have just confirmed in the recent hours.
Everton are looking to make a real push for the European spots this season, and the early signs are certainly promising.
The work done by David Moyes and his recruitment team over the summer is paying off, with Everton sitting fifth in the Premier League going into the weekend.
Carragher shared his Everton concerns following their Hill Dickinson Stadium opener against Brighton & Hove Albion.
Despite securing all three points, Carragher admitted that he was not overly impressed by Everton’s actual performance.
On the back of his comments already this season, Everton appear to have found their revenge, and Carragher has now been informed.

Carragher has admitted his favourite kit of all time is an Everton one from the 1980s when he was a child.
Having seen Gary Neville’s gift of a personalised brick rejected by Everton, Carragher has now shared what the club have just informed him of.

Taking to social media, Carragher has revealed that Everton will include a photo of him in a new club mural.

Having commentated on the opening game against Brighton, Carragher was wowed by the new Everton stadium.
Now, he has his very own piece of Everton history as the club get one over on the former Everton supporter.

Everton fans may not agree with the club’s decision
Ultimately, Carragher is a former Liverpool player, which will surely raise a few eyebrows behind the decision to put him on the stadium.
Carragher also took a bizarre dig at Everton recently, when speaking about Jordan Pickford having not played at the elite European level.
The club have got a lot of things right when it comes to the new stadium, but this may not be one of them.
Ironically, Carragher loves the new stadium, and he now has his very own piece of it.
