On Friday, Grealish’s efforts at Everton were rewarded as he was named the Premier League Player of the Month for August.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall awarded Grealish with the trophy, and the Everton loanee’s reaction was priceless.
“Ah, thank you, mate. It’s my first one. First one. I actually thought there you were winding me up,” said Grealish.

Dewsbury-Hall admitted Grealish’s training intensity has wowed him, with the 30-year-old the first in and last out of Finch Farm.
Grealish’s reaction to being handed the award just days after his birthday was priceless, but he will know this is only the start.
Grealish has to maintain his Everton form
As good as Grealish has been, it has to be remembered that the Premier League season is only three games old.
That has to be the signal for Grealish to keep his head in the game and strive for consistency in an Everton shirt.
Maintaining his current rate of assists will be difficult, but he has shown himself that he can recapture his best form on Merseyside.
