Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall names the Everton player first in and last out of training

Everton are now welcoming their international players back from the first break of the 2025/26 campaign.

The Toffees will be looking to pick back up from where they left off just under two weeks ago on the road to Wolves.

David Moyes will be taking to the dugout at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday as Aston Villa land on Merseyside.

Everton have had a number of players remain at Finch Farm to work with Moyes and the coaching staff during the international break.

One of those players was Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who is settling in on Merseyside nicely following his move from Chelsea.

Dewsbury-Hall has been praised by Ben Foster in recent days, but it is one of his teammates that has impressed the midfielder himself.

“He’s always doing the recovery, doing the right things, ice baths, massages, putting himself in the best possible position to perform for the team. And look, he’s played three games this week, which is a credit to him. He’s kept himself in the right shape.”

Thomas Tuchel has offered Grealish with England hope, having admitted he will select his next squad based off current form.

With four assists to his name in the Premier League, it will surely be difficult for the England manager to look past the 30-year-old forward.

Grealish leading by example at Everton
Wayne Rooney has been so impressed with Grealish since his move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

But it is clearly not just what the forward is producing on the pitch which is wowing people around Everton.

Questions have been asked in the past about Grealish’s off-field activities, but what he is doing in an Everton shirt is undeniable.

By leading the way in training, Grealish will be helping to raise the levels of his teammates.

Speaking to the Everton website, James Garner has already admitted he has seen a shift in mentality.

“I think you can see it in us. There is a mentality shift. We’re playing with more confidence, going into games thinking how we are going to take all three points, it’s not just surviving,” he said.

“We’ve done that in these first few games.”
