With David Moyes bringing back the old school feel to the club, it looks like many former players are getting attracted to being a part of the Toffees once again.
Looking at him as a player, it comes as little surprise that the former left back is so good in his new role.
But now Everton have announced a former player has returned, someone Ferguson knows well.

Former Everton striker Nick Chadwick joins as New Player Development Lead Coach
In exciting news on Everton’s website, former academy graduate striker Nick Chadwick has returned to the Blue side of Merseyside as a Player Development Lead Coach.
This will see the 42-year-old coach and nurture the academy as Ferguson’s former strike partner is looking to add his expertise.
Chadwick told Evertonfc.com. “It’s obviously a club I know well, and it’s great to be here and be part of the Academy. I had a good playing career, and I’ve had a coaching career that so far I have thoroughly enjoyed with loads of experiences along the way, coaching young players and helping them along their own journey.”

“I’ve been along the path that they are on, and I know the first-team manager and the staff, and I know what’s required at this football club,” he added. “I know 100 per cent what David Moyes demands from players, and that’s a message that I’ll be trying to get through to the young players.”
Ferguson wants to succeed Moyes, and the iconic forward might get some inspiration from Chadwick’s move.
The coach had some story coming through the academy, and in 2002, he showed the right impression to Moyes.

Chadwick broke through under Moyes’ reign in 2001 as a promising 18-year-old out of the academy.
He only made 20 appearances since then, but to play alongside the likes of Ferguson and Paul Gascoigne was probably enough.
However, he may have gone further in his career if a young Wayne Rooney hadn’t nicked his limelight, as he explained the situation to the I Had Trials Once podcast.

The striker did show promise though, having a purple patch in April 2002, bagging three in five matches, which brought praise from Moyes after a 2-2 draw versus Leicester City at Goodison Park.
“It was great for Chaddy, although I don’t know if it was inspired. It was just great for the young lad to come on and get that goal,” Moyes said.
“We needed a Johnny on the spot to get us a goal from somewhere, and he was the one today because that really got us going.”
Hopefully, he can give this experience to the young academy stars, as Justin Clarke could be next in line for Everton, and with Chadwick’s support, it could be another success story in the making.
