David Moyes says Everton’s James Garner is one of the ‘best’ in the Premier League right now
The likes of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall have also made an impact, but the Toffees boss has had his eyes on James Garner.
Speaking to Everton TV after the 3-2 win against Wolves, Moyes praised the midfielder, claiming he’s one of the best in the top flight right now.
“I think Jimmy’s (Garner) form at the moment is up there with some of the best I’ve seen around the country at the moment. So, let’s hope that’s recognised.”

He hopes it’s recognised, as Thomas Tuchel could call up Garner to England if his good form continues.

It’s been difficult for Garner to break through and show his true worth to the squad, but finally he’s proving fans wrong about his quality.

His performances are backing up what his former Man United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, said in February 2019.
“We’ve got great faith in him as the next Michael Carrick,” Solskjaer said after handing the midfielder his United debut in a 3-1 win at Crystal Palace.
After selling him for £9 million, the Red Devils must be regretting his sale, as Moyes will see him as a prized possession at the moment.
