Netflix has announced the premiere of a new basketball documentary series, Starting 5, offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the 2023–2024 NBA season through the eyes of five star players: LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers, Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat, Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics, and Domantas Sabonis of the Sacramento Kings. The 10-part series is set to premiere on October 9, 2024, and is produced by LeBron James’ Uninterrupted, Barack and Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground Productions, and Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions .
