Vikings guard Justin Jefferson may play this week after sustaining a chest injury from a hard hit.
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson avoided internal injury from an airborne hit while catching a pass, but it prevented his return and there is a “good chance” he will return this week.

The Vikings were eventually told he suffered a chest injury and sent him to the hospital for further tests as a precaution.

O’Connell said Jefferson’s status will be reviewed daily.
