Pundit says Ben Doak is learning from ‘one of the best in the world’ at Liverpool

Rachel Brown-Finnis has named Mohamed Salah as the perfect mentor for Ben Doak, who is starting tonight for Liverpool against Toulouse.

Speaking on TNT Sports, the former England international lauded the development plan the Scottish youth international likely has at Liverpool under Salah.

Brown-Finnis said: “Since signing, look at the player that he’s able to learn from in Mohamed Salah, one of the best in the world in his position. What an experience it is for Ben Doak.”

With Salah arguably the best right-sided winger in the world, Doak couldn’t find a better player in the game than the Liverpool superstar to learn from.

Indeed, Doak is well on his way to becoming a phenomenal player in his own right, and the more the winger learns from Salah, the more exciting the Scotsman will become.

Moreover, with the Egyptian international due to leave Liverpool next year, Doak could even succeed Salah at Liverpool if the teenager can hit the ground running this season.

At 17-years-old, Doak is one of the youngest players to feature regularly for a top-six Premier League side this season, with the attacker very much at the start of his career.

And early signs suggest that the winger has everything needed to succeed at Liverpool, with Doak potentially good enough to replace Salah in 2024.

Whilst a lot needs to happen for such an incredible moment to happen, it’s hardly unrealistic, and Doak himself will want to achieve this goal in the coming matches.
