Everton eyeing summer swoop for £35m striker from Premier League rivals to replace Beto
Everton’s summer has gotten off to a positive start with Sean Dyche’s options in attack taking a boost.
The Toffees have already been able to bring in two new faces at Goodison Park this summer with Iliman Ndiaye and Tim Iroegbunam.
However, Everton have also seen a number of players depart on Merseyside as the club needed to balance the books last month against PSR.
Ben Godfrey has marked the biggest exit of the summer with the defender bringing in around £10m from his move to Italian outfit Atalanta.
More may follow with interest building in one forward player, but Everton look prepared with a Premier League striker on their radar as his potential replacement.

There are question marks surrounding the future of striker Beto who only made the move to Everton last summer.
The Portuguese forward made the move from Udinese in a deal which was reportedly worth almost £26m.

However, just a year on, Everton are expecting interest to arrive from Turkish side Fenerbahce who could offer him a loan move.
The Toffees look to be ready for the approach from the Turkish side this summer with Fanatik claiming they hold an interest in Chelsea’s Armando Broja.

With interest coming from within the Premier League for the Albania international, Chelsea are said to be open to selling Broja this summer.
As per previous reports, Chelsea could be looking for a fee in the region of £35m for the 22-year-old over the coming weeks.
Armando Broja still has a lot to prove in the Premier League
There is a long line of strikers who have came through the ranks of Premier League sides and struggled when making the step up to the first team.
Broja was sent out on loan again last season to Fulham where he only racked up 81 minutes in the second half of the campaign.
But it is apparent this is a player who is still very highly thought of with his former manager Frank Lampard waxing lyrical about him previously.
“He’s a very nice, very good lad and a very talented young boy,” Lampard told the media back in 2022.
“He’s fast, strong, has a real eye for goal and he’s a very, very good young player so I’m very aware of his strengths in a Southampton team playing very well.”
