Tottenham hold advantage over Newcastle in the race to sign ‘incredible’ forward as he wants move to London

Tottenham Hotspur have found themselves battling with Newcastle United in the last two seasons for the European spots.
However, the pair now find themselves butting heads over the potential signing of a Premier League forward this summer.
Both sides suffered considerably last season through injuries which had a large influence on their pursuit of finishing in the top four.
Spurs were able to beat Newcastle last season in the race for European football with the north London outfit securing Europa League qualification.
And it seems as if Ange Postecoglou‘s side now hold the advantage over Eddie Howe and the Toon in the race to land one of their top targets this summer.

Tottenham lead Newcastle in the race for £60m forward
Newcastle’s summer of spending may now kick into action after the Magpies survived their PSR scares last month.
Spurs never found themselves in that type of situation where they needed to be worried about balancing the books.
But it has still been a slow start to the window at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with only Archie Gray coming through the doors as a permanent signing.
However, the two clubs are now looking set to battle it out for the signature of an ‘incredible‘ player who looks set to be on the move this summer.

According to GiveMeSport, Tottenham hold a key advantage over Newcastle in the race to sign Wolves forward Pedro Neto.
Playing European football is believed to be a big factor for the 24-year-old whose agent is prepared to create a tug-of-war for his client’s signature.
Spurs are said to be fully aware of Wolves’ demands this summer and the player would be keen on living in London as his new chapter.
Wolves are believed to value the Portuguese winger in the region of £60m this summer.
Tottenham face Pedro Neto and Eberechi Eze decision
Daniel Levy‘s club are also showing an interest in the Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze.
And it has been claimed Spurs will now not face any competition from Manchester City in the pursuit of the £60m England international.
However, this does leave Spurs with a decision to make on which player they should pursue.
Of course, both players operate in different positions, but at £60m each, it does feel like it may have to be one or the other.
Should Spurs have the money to make moves for both players this summer, then it would certainly make a real statement across the league.
