Daniel Levy has ruthlessly sanctioned the exit of numerous players like Tanguy Ndombele with Joe Rodon marking the only sale thus far.

However, further sales are being eyed by Tottenham with a number of players still at the club who Postecoglou would be willing to wave goodbye to this summer.

TBR Football understands that AC Milan are locked in talks with Tottenham over a deal for Emerson Royal – after the Brazilian made it clear he wants to move to the San Siro.

Tottenham locked in talks to offload Emerson Royal to AC Milan
TBR understands that Emerson has told Spurs that he wants the chance to make what he feels is a ‘dream move’ to Milan – the home of many Brazilian legends.

Spurs are open to allowing Emerson leave but they want a deal worth at least £20m but Milan’s opening offer of close to £15m has been rejected.

Talks are continuing and Emerson is hopeful he will soon be given the green-light to move to Italy.

This is a player who Postecoglou has hailed as ‘unbelievable‘ for his workrate in Spurs training, but opportunities in the starting XI have just not been available due to Pedro Porro‘s impressive form.

Tottenham eyeing Kyle Walker-Peters as Emerson Royal replacement
Tottenham’s only permanent signing of this summer’s transfer window has been the young Archie Gray who has been added as a midfield option.

However, the youngster has shown his versatility having played at right-back for Leeds United during his time in Yorkshire.

But that is not going to deter Spurs from potentially adding a more natural right-back which would allow Gray to develop in midfield.

TBR Football understands Tottenham themselves will bring in another right-back to replace Emerson if, and when, he leaves and former defender Kyle Walker-Peters is one of their preferred options.
