“Rangers Seek Temporary Home as Ibrox Renovations Cause Fixture Challenges”
Rangers are still searching for a temporary venue as Ibrox is expected to be unavailable at the start of the new season due to ongoing repair work.
Although the 2024/25 fixtures have been released, it is uncertain if Rangers will be able to play at their home ground at that time.
Repairs on the Copland Road stand are behind schedule. A recent club statement mentioned a delay in a materials shipment from Asia, likely affecting the completion timeline for the Copland Stand.
This delay is expected to impact matches at Ibrox at the beginning of the 2024/25 season. The club is in talks with the SPFL and UEFA to review contingency plans.
The club expressed disappointment and is working hard to expedite the project, promising further updates to supporters soon.
Hampden Park is not an option for Rangers due to scheduled renovations following summer concerts and a UEFA Nations League match on September 5th.
Thus, Rangers need to consider alternative venues. Murrayfield is a potential option according to the Scottish Sun, but other solutions are also being explored.
According to the Daily Record, home fixtures scheduled for Ibrox at the start of the season will not be switched to away matches. 
SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster told BBC Radio Scotland: “With the fixtures released, we’ll collaborate with Rangers and discuss with the teams they are set to play at home to see what can be arranged.
“We aim to be as helpful as possible while being fair to all involved.
“I understand how these projects can face delays. We’ll stay in close contact with Rangers and do our best to assist in this challenging situation.”
He added: “Rangers will have a better understanding of the delay and we’ll do our best to accommodate their requests.
Since the work is at Ibrox, Rangers will know best what flexibility they need and will likely request flexibility from us and other clubs.”
Rangers finished second to Celtic this year and will aim for the top spot next season.
