Garcia, who progressed through Espanyol’s youth academy, joined the club’s first team in 2021 but became a regular starter last season. The 21-year-old goalkeeper made 14 appearances in La Liga 2 during the 2023-24 season, conceding seven goals and achieving eight clean sheets, plus two more clean sheets in three promotion play-off matches (Transfermarkt).
His impressive performances have reportedly attracted interest from clubs in La Liga and abroad. Both Real Madrid and Valencia are monitoring Garcia, but it is Premier League clubs that have shown the most interest.
