“Victory at Vitality: Hearn and Sons Excel in Net Play on the Pitch Event”.

Date for local companies at Vitality Stadium.
Hearn and Sons, a family-run firm based in Dorchester, reached new heights to win The Net Play on the Pitch this year. At Vitality Stadium, the roofing and rainwater systems experts defeated Avenue Estates in a lively five-a-side competition involving twelve local businesses. IFX Payments, an official money transfer partner of The Net and AFC Bournemouth, sponsored the event.
In addition to meals and refreshments upon arrival, each player received a replica home shirt for 2023–24, and the winning squad was awarded a trophy. Simon Hughes, sales director at IFX Payments, commented: “It was highly competitive and enjoyable for all involved.” “We adore participating in occasions such as these. Fourteen of us rode the bus here to enjoy a pleasant day out with the guys from the company.
“We’ve noticed that AFC Bournemouth integrates the local businesses with some of the more international business very well since we became partners.” “Everyone had a great afternoon,” stated Amy Marks, global partnerships manager, activation at AFC Bournemouth. “It was good to welcome everyone back and give people the opportunity to play on the pitch here at Vitality Stadium as we hadn’t held a Play on the Pitch event since before Covid.”
It’s all a little enjoyable. It becomes a little competitive, but overall it’s simply a great afternoon, and what matters is that you participate. AFC Bournemouth would like to express its gratitude to IFX Payments for their sponsorship, as well as to all participants, attendees, and friends.
