Milan has a transfer conundrum involving Rafael Leao in the wake of a potential $100 million offer.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Serie A powerhouse Milan will have a choice to make about Rafael Leao’s future if they receive an offer of about €100 million. Meanwhile, an intermediary is in negotiations with Al Hilal over the Milan star.
Rafael Leao is reportedly attracting interest from Saudi Pro League teams, according to multiple Italian and Portuguese sources. Gazzetta also reveals that an intermediary linked to Antonio, the striker’s father, has been in talks with Al Hilal for a few weeks. Leao’s contract has a €175 million clause, thus Milan technically won’t sell for less than that amount even though the Rossoneri haven’t received a formal bid yet.
Even Zlatan Ibrahimovic declared last week that Leao, Mike Maignan and Theo Hernandez would remain at San Siro beyond the summer, but according to Gazzetta, an offer in the area of €100m may tempt the Rossoneri.
Due to a potential 100 million dollar bid, Milan has a Rafael Leao issue. Leao has seen a lot of highs and lows this season; in one of the final games in May, Rossoneri supporters even jeered him. Gazzetta reports that Al Hilal and an intermediary acting on behalf of the striker’s entourage had been in negotiations for a few weeks. Leao is another PSG contender to succeed Kylian Mbappé. Once more, neither Paris nor Saudi Arabia have made the Rossoneri any firm offers.
If Milan receives an offer in the neighborhood of €100 million in the upcoming weeks, journalist Luca Bianchin said that they would “face a dilemma.”
Leao is among the finest players in the league, but he hasn’t reached his full potential yet. Because of this inconsistency, the Rossoneri may be tempted to consider high offers for him this summer.
