DONE DEAL: Rangers Boost Squad with Young Talent, Hamza Igamane Signs Four-Year Deal.

Ibrox deal to close next week; according to reports, footballer inks four-year contract with Rangers.

According to The Fourth Official, Hamza Igamane has reached an agreement with Rangers on a four-year contract in advance of his £1.5 million transfer to Ibrox. The journalist reports that the Moroccan forward would sign a long-term contract on his Patreon account on June 20. The trade is anticipated to be finalized the following week.

Igamane is slated to sign as the team’s sixth player of the summer after Jefte, Oscar Cortes, Clinton Nsiala, and Connor Barron were all confirmed [Daily Record, 20 June]. Liam Kelly is also anticipated to join after Euro 2024. Rangers make quick work of the summer transfer window. This summer, Philippe Clement promised huge changes at Ibrox, and he has already made them before June is even half over. Imagane will bring the total number of confirmed new entrants to five in a range of roles, and with so many names being linked, there will undoubtedly be more to follow.

The young Moroccan sensation may not be well-known, but at just 21 years old, he still has a lot of space to grow and develop, and the club plans to focus on that this summer [Chris Jack, 26 January].

His eye for goal is evident, and he can play both flank and strike across the forward line. Given that he surrounds himself with stronger players, it is reasonable to anticipate that his goal total will rise in the 2024–2025 campaign. With his sole goal of catching and unseating Celtic, Clement is receiving everything he wants so far this summer. If he doesn’t perform this season, he won’t have any justifications.
