Transfer Frenzy: Rangers Battle Fenerbahce for Kabadayi, Secure Garcia’s Future, and Address Yilmaz Speculations.

According to a rumor, Turkish powerhouse Fenerbahce has a strong interest in Yusuf Kabadayi, a target for the Rangers. The Bayern Munich winger has been named as another target of Light Blues manager Philippe Clement and Director of Football Nils Koppen’s summer rebuild. The Belgian is eager to add younger talent to his side. Kabadayi, a German U20 international, rose through the ranks in Bavaria and played for Schalke on loan in the second division last season.
However, Fenerbahce, who are currently led by Jose Mourinho, reportedly contacted Bayern regarding the youth player’s availability, and club president Ali Koc is expected to be actively involved in the talks, according to Turkish publication Turkiyeyedair. According to the source, the former manager of Chelsea, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid is also trying to boost his team with younger players. Last season, despite ending with an incredible 99 points, the Istanbul club lost out on the Turkish crown to fierce rivals Galatasaray.
In other news, it appears that Damian Garcia, a young Uruguayan who has been linked to Rangers, will remain at Penarol after agreeing to a new contract. The Uruguayan youth international, whose contract expires in December, will sign a two-year contract with Penarol, according to director Gonzalo Moratori. The release clause will enable the player to leave the team at any time if the transfer money is paid.
