Rangers Will Complete Ibrox Target Move In The Next Few Days.
According to the Rangers Review, Rangers will sign Aberdeen midfielder Connor Barron in the coming days after defeating the competition for his services.
Barron’s contract at Pittodrie is about to expire, and he has declined Aberdeen’s offers to extend it. Barron’s signature has been pursued by numerous teams, notably Rangers led by Philippe Clement.
It appears that the Gers have emerged victorious in their pursuit of the midfield player, and he is anticipated to sign a deal with the Ibrox team in the next few days. If Barron relocated outside of Scotland, Aberdeen would be entitled to a sizable training fee as compensation; however, if the two clubs are unable to agree on a fee, a move inside the nation will be subject to a tribunal.
The midfielder, who is 21 years old, will broaden Clement’s options in the middle of the field. Rangers would also consider it a victory that they have avoided competition for Barron from clubs in England and other countries.
Barron will be leaving Pittodrie after making 76 club appearances and scoring two goals.
