CONFIRMED: Backa Topola Secures Marko Lazetic on Loan from AC Milan with €3 Million Option to Buy.

How much Backa Topola must pay for a long-term Lazetic contract.
Marko Lazetic, a striker for AC Milan, has agreed to a fresh loan agreement that would see him return to Serbia to play for Backa Topola the next season. The Serbian team announced on Instagram on Tuesday that they had successfully negotiated a loan for Lazetic, making him their fourth acquisition of the summer transfer season.
According to Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, who was speaking on X, Backa Taopolo does have the option to extend the contract for Lazetic beyond the end of the current campaign. The amount that the Serbian side must pay is €3 million, which is €1.5 million less than what Milan paid Red Star Belgrade in January 2022 for Lazetic. This indicates that Lazetic’s growth since joining the team has not been as rapid as Milan would have preferred.
This will be his third stint away from the club on loan. He has already had two. He played ten games with SCR Altach in Austria during his first one, but he was scoreless. Then he traveled to Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands, where he participated in nine games without scoring any points.
Lazetic is hoping that returning to his home country of Serbia will help him recover his form again.
