Milan is closing in on Tottenham’s Emerson Royal, defender.
The 25-year-old Emerson Royal is expected to be the first player signed by new manager Paulo Fonseca of Serie A powerhouse Milan.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the 25-year-old is almost certain to accept Milan’s €20 million offer to join Serie A. The midfielder is reportedly valued at €30 million by Tottenham Hotspur, but the Premier League team is now prepared to lower their initial asking price, thus it is likely that the two sides will reach a deal sooner rather than later.
The pink publication claims that although Fonseca will formally introduce himself to the media as the new Milan coach on Thursday, he has already given Royal the go-ahead to arrive.
The Brazilian international moved from Barcelona to North London in the summer of 2021, and with his impending arrival at San Siro, Alessandro Florenzi will be ending his two-year relationship with the Rossoneri. Como, who has recently been promoted, is reportedly interested in hiring the former Italian international.
