“Braves’ Star Pitcher Continues Dominant Run Into Pivotal Matchup”

The Atlanta Braves are currently nine games behind the Philadelphia Phillies in the NL East standings. They have a chance to start reducing that deficit by performing well against one of the top teams in the American League, the Baltimore Orioles, in an upcoming series.

Fortunately for Atlanta, they will have their best and most consistent pitcher, Max Fried, on the mound on Tuesday night. Fried has rebounded from a poor start to the season and is now pitching exceptionally well.

MLB Network highlighted Fried’s impressive recent performance, tweeting his stats from the last three starts: 7 IP, 2 ER, 13 K (W); 8 IP, 0 ER, 6 K (W); 9 IP, 1 ER, 9 K (W). In these outings, Fried has pitched 24 innings, allowing just three earned runs.

In an era where starting pitchers often struggle to last five or six innings, Fried’s durability and dominance are significant assets for the Braves. His season ERA is now a stellar 2.93 over 73.2 innings.

However, the Orioles will provide a tough challenge for Fried in his next start.

As of Tuesday afternoon, the Orioles lead the league with 336 runs scored, so Fried will certainly have a challenging task ahead.

However, if anyone has the talent and momentum to shut down the Orioles’ powerful lineup, it’s definitely Fried.
