Ac Milan

massive OFFER: As Bayern Munich ultimately gave up their pursuit, Milan is poised to make Theo Hernandez a massive contract extension offer.

Bayern Munich may give up on Hernandez, making renewal conceivable.

In recent weeks, Theo Hernandez has been frequently linked to a move to Bayern Munich; however, a report suggests that the German team may pursue Alphonso Davies in his place. They may, in fact, give up on their “Theo pursuit.”

Since negotiations with Davies over a contract renewal have proven challenging, Bayern Munich has spent the last few months assessing a number of left-backs. But the negotiations appear to be back on, according to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany. Negotiations are in progress to find a solution because the new manager, Vincent Kompany, is desperate to maintain the Canadian international. The German side has already made an offer of €13–14 million year, but since Davies is requesting €20 million, additional money will probably be required.

In any event, Bayern Munich may obviously give up on the Milan star Hernandez if they are able to come to an arrangement with Davies. The Frenchman has a €80 million price tag on him, and the Rossoneri will not entertain any lowball bids.

Hernandez’s interest on the mercato needs to calm down before Milan and Paulo Fonseca can agree to keep him and extend his contract. Perhaps it’s not helped on that front by the huge win yesterday, though.
