Rangers FC are targeting a talented 19-year-old player who has rejected a new contract offer from his current club.
Rangers are reportedly looking to sign a “highly-rated” Premier League player during the summer transfer window, as per a recent update from journalist Graham Falk.
Rangers’ season ended in disappointment with a last-minute defeat to Celtic in the Scottish Cup final, and Philippe Clement is keen to strengthen the squad this summer to bounce back from that loss and their near miss in the Scottish Premiership title race.
Kalvin Phillips is expected to leave Manchester City before the 2024/25 season after falling out of favor with Pep Guardiola, and he has been linked with a potential move to Rangers. Celtic are also interested in the midfielder, which could lead to a bidding war for his signature after his challenging loan spell at West Ham last season.
Additionally, FK Radnicki goalkeeper Stojan Lekovic has become a target for Rangers. The 22-year-old, who stands at 6 feet 6 inches and has made 61 appearances for his current club, represents a long-term option.

According to Falk on X, “Rangers are interested in highly-rated Arsenal defender Reuell Walters” this summer. The 19-year-old is expected to leave Arsenal after rejecting a new contract, having already posted his farewells on social media and received well wishes from teammates like Declan Rice and William Saliba.
Despite his youth and limited top-level experience, Walters could be an exciting addition for Rangers. Training with world-class players at Arsenal, including receiving praise from Oleksandr Zinchenko, Walters has shown impressive qualities, such as his aggressive playing style and confidence on the ball.
