Newcastle United Football Club is planning to make multiple new signings during the transfer window.

Newcastle United has significantly expanded its staff, being cautious to hire the right individuals, says Dan Ginger, the club’s director of brand, marketing, and digital media. Under Chief Commercial Officer Peter Silverstone, the commercial team has grown from just over 40 people in 2022 to the point where new offices were needed at St James’ Park. Unlike other clubs that establish satellite offices in London, Newcastle focuses on building a cohesive team on Tyneside, including Ginger, who joined from the ATP and WTA tennis tours.

Ginger emphasized the importance of organizational culture, noting that the marketing team alone will nearly double in size over 12 to 18 months. He stressed that hiring is not just about talent but about finding individuals who fit the club’s culture, aiming to mitigate growing pains and avoid setbacks.
