Rangers

MEDICALS COMPLETED: A footballer completed his medical examination at Glasgow a few hours ago.

To complete their physical with Rangers in anticipation of a new contract, a footballer is traveling to Glasgow via plane.

As to the Daily Record, Jose Cordoba is scheduled to travel to Glasgow for a medical examination in order to finalize his projected transfer to Rangers. The 22-year-old has already visited Ibrox and was shown around during the 4-1 victory over Kilmarnock on May 5, according to a story in the print edition of the newspaper (page 44, May 28).

Before this summer’s Copa America and World Cup Qualifiers, Cordoba will join the Panama national squad after his medical clearance. Will the Rangers make a decent signing in Jose Cordoba? Being close to completing a deal so soon after the season is almost over would please Rangers. Because of Cordoba’s summertime commitments to the national team, the Gers will probably need to have his signature before he leaves for Central America.

The Levski Sofia center defender, who arrived in Bulgaria in January 2021 as a youthful 19-year-old who was only six months away from turning 20, has undoubtedly left a lasting impact. Initially, he came with another club, Etar. In spite of his youth, Cordoba has played in over 100 senior games for Levski Sofia and Etar in Bulgaria.

Given his left-footed central defense profile and his youthful experience, he could prove to be a wise signing at Ibrox.
