Celtic enjoyed another lively celebration at Parkhead as the Legends XI secured a 4-2 victory over the Dortmund Legends, providing a day of nostalgia for the Celtic FC Foundation’s charitable cause.

Many well-known players participated, including Scott Brown, Georgios Samaras, and Gary Hooper for Celtic, while Paul Lambert coached Celtic in the first half and played for Dortmund in the second half.

Dortmund’s men’s team, gearing up for a Champions League Final against Real Madrid in six days, featured familiar faces from their past.

Georgios Samaras scored first after Mikael Lustig’s cutback, set up by Scott Brown. Gary Hooper scored twice, with a goal from former Rangers trialist David Odonkor in between. Kuba Blaszczykowski scored for Dortmund, and Charlie Mulgrew sealed the win for Celtic with a late goal in the rain at Celtic Park.
