Exclusive: Rangers announces the dismissal of Philippe Clement following Celtic’s Scottish Premiership victory.

Derek Ferguson has implied that there is no pressure on Philippe Clement’s position following Celtic’s repeat victory over Rangers in the Scottish Premiership.

Even though Clement had just recently put his team on top, the Hoops made it 12 titles in the previous 13 years as they lifted the trophy on Saturday, May 18.

Although Clement needs multiple transfer windows to establish himself as a member of the first group at Ibrox, Ferguson acknowledged that pressure is always strong in his position.

“Being associated with the Old Firm always carries pressure,” he stated. “You must prevail in games. I disagree that he is under pressure to execute his job.\

Philippe Clement sack update emerges at Rangers after Celtic win Scottish Premiership

“Let’s not play favorites; he joined the team during Michael Beale’s terrible tenure, and the league had already ended at that point. Even though we had already given up the league, the work he performed and the players’ improvement were astounding.

However, they have clearly run out of steam. Their season-long injury troubles have now caught up with them, and this happened right as Celtic was starting to play better and was starting to get one or two key players back.

“In my opinion, Philippe Clement is not under any pressure in his role as Rangers manager. Naturally, we’re not happy as Rangers supporters. In 13 years, Celtic has won 12 titles. It’s difficult. Both watching and being a Rangers fan are difficult.

“Philippe Clement needs at least two or three transfer windows to establish his own power on that team, so it’s not his fault. It’s true that the Old Firm is putting pressure on him, but in my opinion, he won’t be under pressure going forward.

Could Philippe Clement be fired from Rangers?

Since Clement has done such a great job, any hints that his employment is under pressure should be instantly denied.

While it was unfortunate not to win the Scottish Premiership, it is incredible to be in the running after what Michael Beale accomplished at Ibrox.
