Abdallah Sima may never start another game for the Rangers given what Philippe Clement recently stated about him. The Senegal international, who joined Ibrox on loan from Brighton in the summer, has had injuries in 2024.

He was sidelined for several weeks at the beginning of the year and is currently recovering from another setback. Abdallah Sima may play a few minutes for Rangers against Hearts. Philippe Clement provided an update on Sima prior to the Hearts game, stating, “Sima will be back in selection to play some minutes, very little as his first step back.” With the Hearts match on May 18th being the second-to-last game of the season, followed by a cup final against Celtic, the 22-year-old is unlikely to be fully fit.Ibrox View: According to Clement's report from the last 24 hours, the legendary player may never play for Rangers again.

Clement has already stated that he will play “very little,” implying that this will also be the case in the Old Firm. It makes little sense to start him if he can only play 30 or 45 minutes, and he’d rather come off as an impact substitute.

Rangers have yet to make an official announcement about Abdallah Sima. There has been no decision on whether the Senegal international will sign permanently or if Brighton will have a closer look at him over the summer.

If he does not return to Ibrox next season, with only two games remaining, he is unlikely to start another game for the Glasgow club. He was an excellent signing for them over the summer, scoring 15 goals and providing two assists in all competitions this season, and he will be sorely missed.
