Tottenham are playing two midweek games in quick succession due to being picked for television broadcast.
Spurs take on Fulham at home in the Premier League tonight, live on talkSPORT.
The game was moved to a Monday to be shown live on Sky Sports with kick-off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium scheduled for 8pm.
They did not qualify for European competition last season, meaning they don’t have any extra midweek fixtures.
And this has turned into a luxury for Posteocoglou’s men who now have their midweeks free.
Due to that, Spurs are able to play two top-flight games in a week while still having enough days rest between fixtures.
After facing Fulham, they’ll travel to take on Crystal Palace which is exclusively live on talkSPORT on Friday night.
Tottenham could be clear at the top of the table come Saturday
That game also kicks off at 8pm and was moved to be shown on Sky Sports due to other teams featuring in Europe having to play from 3pm on Saturday onwards.
A win against Fulham would send Tottenham back to the top of the Premier League table, two points clear of Man City and Arsenal.
This will leave them with the chance to move five points clear on Friday when they face Palace at Selhurst Park.
Of course, other teams will have the chance to catch up as they’d have a game in hand, but if they win both games, Spurs will hold a huge advantage.
