Hearing that West Ham United is a player’s dream move is always a nice thing isn’t it.
West Ham have been in the doldrums on the most part over the past few decades, but we are now a well established top 10 Premier League club.
The Hammers are now on the cusp of an exciting new era as well, with Julen Lopetegui set to replace David Moyes as the new West Ham boss, after being handed a two-year deal.
The 57-year-old Spaniard will have plenty of elite players at his disposal at the London Stadium next season and beyond.

One of them is Mohammed Kudus – the Ghanaian has been absolutely sensational for us this season.
The 23-year-old joined the Hammers from Dutch giants Ajax in the summer in a deal worth around £38 million.
Kudus has gone on to bag an impressive 14 goals and five assists in 43 appearances for West Ham this season (Transfermarkt).

The Ghana international is already attracting attention from some of the world’s biggest clubs and Fabrizio Romano suggested that West Ham may well be keeping a release clause in his contract quiet.
The big thing in our favour clearly is the fact that he’s so happy at the London Stadium.

The former Ajax man has made a big admission about his move to the Hammers in summer.

“I followed my gut and dream to move here to West Ham and believed I was ready. When I decided to make this move to the best league in the world, I knew I was ready to take that step and I wanted to test myself. There have been ups and downs throughout the season, but I know there are more ways to improve my game. I’ve definitely announced myself here and I am happy that it has gone in that direction for the first season.”
Let’s hope that Kudus stays true to those words when one of the giants of the game come in for him.
There are rumblings that his release clause kicks into action in the summer of 2025, so only time will tell with that.
Mohammed Kudus is a West Ham player for now. Let’s hope it stays that way for years still to come.
