West Ham United player reportedly agrees summer exit three months before the window opens.

The upcoming summer transfer window will be a vitally important one for West Ham, with numerous new signings required, but one of our players has already agreed an exit it seems.

Thilo Kehrer left the Hammers to join Monaco on a season-long loan in January, and the Ligue 1 outfit apparently have an obligation to buy him for around £10 million as long as he plays a certain amount of games. However, it seems like that deal may well be done already…

Described by German football expert Raphael Honigstein as ‘superb’ (WHUFC.com), Kehrer is clearly a very talented player, but he just wasn’t suited to the Premier League one little bit.

And now it seems as though the 27-year-old will not be playing anymore football in England because SportBILD are reporting that his permanent move from West Ham to Monaco has already been sorted.

Sport Bild are claiming that Kehrer’s permanent move to Monaco is already done, and that means that we already have £10 million or so to be put towards the summer budget – great news.

I don’t think that Kehrer was a particularly bad player.

Whenever Kehrer played for the Hammers, apart from on the very odd occasion, he was deployed as a right-back.

That said, arguably his best and most memorable performance for West Ham was when he came on as a 62nd minute substitute for us in the Europa Conference League final back in June of last year.

He’ll always be remembered for that exceptional cameo display, but there surely won’t be a single Hammers fan who will shed a tear whenever he leaves permanently.

With the report claiming that West Ham player Thilo Kehrer agrees an exit from the London Stadium, the German has clearly played his last game for the club, and it rules out any possibility of him returning at the end of the season.
