Breaking news: Clayton Kershaw of the Dodgers Makes Progress in His Comeback

On Saturday at Dodger Stadium, Clayton Kershaw, the left-hander for the Dodgers, was spotted throwing off the mound. Although he hasn’t played yet this season due to shoulder surgery that was done in the off-season, this is encouraging for his recuperation.

The anticipation among fans was that Kershaw will return to the mound this season. His lackluster postseason appearance the previous year, when he was thoroughly embarrassed by the Arizona Diamondbacks, was the last time we saw him.

A few weeks ago, Kershaw conducted a successful bullpen session, so this is yet another indication of his outstanding development toward his comeback. The Dodgers will not push him to return before July or August, which is when he is anticipated to return.

This season, when he takes the mound for the first time, he will have worn Dodger uniforms for 17 seasons. It will be a welcome sight to have him back, and it looks like he’s on a solid track for when that happens.
