Celtic winger Mikey Johnston is a late January target for Norwich City, according to reports north of the border.
The Daily Record is claiming that the Canaries and Championship rivals West Brom are monitoring his situation as the window reaches its final stages.
Johnston, a Republic of Ireland international, has fallen down the pecking order at Celtic Park after the signing of Nicolas Kuhn and Liel Abada’s return from injury. Other reports suggest the Scottish champions are prepared to sanction a loan move ahead of Thursday’s deadline.

Jon Rowe has been linked with the majority of the Premier League, and it is understood that there is strong interest in the 20-year-old ahead of Thursday’s deadline.
Norwich have done their research on potential targets should an acceptable bid be made for the winger, who has netted 13 Championship goals so far this season.
The winger has netted twice in nine Scottish Premiership appearances this season and has seen his game time limited in Glasgow despite being highly rated by Brendan Rodgers, who gave him his senior debut back in 2017.
Last month, Rodgers challenged Johnston to take the next step – but his game time hasn’t increased since.
“He’s a player that has come through the system here and a player that is arguably the most talented player that’s ever come out of this system here,” the Celtic chief said last month.
“If you want to play at a club like Celtic in the starting lineup regularly you have to have a robustness, be mentally strong, competitive and physically brave.
“The reason Mikey’s still here now from the summer is because I rate him as a player. I could easily have put him out on loan in the summer, having not played or featured so much last year.
“But I know his talent, and I want to try to do everything I can to allow him to maximise that talent.
“He’s made great strides in his training performance, in terms of consistency, being available and regular training.

“He’s made an impact coming off the bench, but I know how much he wants to play for Celtic and start for Celtic.”
City also continue their interest in Sporting Gijon midfielder Jonathan Varane and are pushing to sign the Frenchman before Thursday’s deadline, but are unwilling to meet his release clause.
