‘Wants to be saved from abyss’ – Everton given open opportunity to sign frustrated player

It’s now the Belgian media who names Everton as one of the contenders fro sign Largie Ramazani.

Outlet DH today has a story claiming the player ‘wants to be saved from the abyss’ in La Liga, where his club UD Almeria haven’t won a single match so far.

It’s said Ramazani is doing fairly well, considering that his side are at the bottom of the table, as he’s still managed three goals and four assists this season.

DH comes up with a list of clubs who’ve been following the player ‘very close’, and those are said to be Everton, Fiorentina and Lille.

The Toffees’ interest had already been reported by the Spanish media last week, with stories claiming Almeria could indeed sell him before the end of the window.

It was claimed that the La Liga side would take around €8m for his sale, although the interested clubs are still to make their bids for the transfer.

That sounds like a cheap deal but Everton’s finances are so stretched it would be a struggle. If they managed to agree a deal they could give Ramazani some fresh air after a frustrating first half of the season in Spain.
