Breaking news: Tottenham’s target has been backed for real Madrid 🤔

Tottenham Hotspur are pushing to sign Club Brugge wonderkid Antonio Nusa – a player backed to sign for Real Madrid just a year ago.
This has been another successful transfer window for Tottenham.
Timo Werner has come in on loan from RB Leipzig whilst Spurs managed to fend off Bayern Munich’s hijack attempt for Radu Dragusin.
Ange Postecoglou will be delighted with Tottenham’s business so far but there may yet be one more signing in the pipeline.
HITC Football understands that Tottenham are in talks over a deal to sign Club Brugge talent Antonio Nusa.
The deal would see Nusa stay with Club Brugge until the summer and then join Tottenham, similar to the deals Spurs have previously struck for Destiny Udogie and Pape Matar Sarr.
Nusa is the kind of signing to get Tottenham fans excited.
The 18-year-old has already played 63 times for Club Brugge, bagging seven goals and four assists.
That may not sound like an incredible record, but Nusa’s raw ability to go past defenders and create havoc in the final third has been clear for all to see.
Nusa has already bagged four caps for Norway too, recording one goal and four assists on the international stage.
The former Stabaek talent is being backed for an enormous future and his former Club Brugge teammate Ruud Vormer is a huge fan.
Dutchman Vormer, now with Zulte Waregem, told the Belgian media that he feels Nusa is destined to play for Real Madrid or Manchester City.
Vormer said ‘remember my words’, confidently predicting that Nusa was on a path to superstardom with his stop at Club Brugge merely temporary.
“Just write this down; Antonio Nusa. He will later play at the biggest clubs in the world. Real Madrid, City. Remember my words,” said Vormer.
That kind of comment will leave Tottenham fans believing that Nusa would be a threat in the Spurs attack for years to come.
Tottenham already have some exciting attacking players but Nusa appears to have elite potential, hence Tottenham’s willingness to do a deal now but leave him in Belgium.
Maybe Nusa will end up following the path of Gareth Bale, becoming a star at Tottenham before then playing for Real Madrid as Vormer predicts.
Tottenham need to get this deal done first though, and whilst fans would have to wait until the summer to see him in action, he could be well worth the wait.
