Emily Fox, 25, has made the move to Arsenal from North Carolina Courage in the National Women’s Soccer League, where she played 19 times since January 2023. Before that, she started her pro career at Racing Louisville and played college football for North Carolina Tar Heels.
In her international career, Fox made her senior debut for the United States in 2018 and has since earned 39 caps. She’s been part of teams that won the CONCACAF Women’s Championship in 2022, as well as the SheBelieves Cup in 2022 and 2023.
Fox also played in all four of the USA’s matches at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
“It feels amazing to have signed here,” Fox told Arsenal.com. “When I think of Arsenal, I think of excellence, a global organisation, and family. I’m excited to get started and play in front of our supporters.”
Arsenal’s head coach Jonas Eidevall and Director of Women’s Football Clare Wheatley both expressed their pleasure at bringing Fox to the club, highlighting her experience and development.
Wheatley noted that they had been tracking Fox’s career and believe she will integrate well into the Arsenal environment and contribute to achieving their goals.
Fox will wear the number 2 jersey at Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Danish journalist Arnela Muminovic of DR Sporten has reported that Kathrine Kuhl is set to join Everton on loan for the rest of the season.
BOREHAMWOOD, ENGLAND – MAY 27: Kathrine Kuhl of Arsenal during the FA Women’s Super League match between Arsenal and Aston Villa at Meadow Park on May 27, 2023 in Borehamwood, England.
Kuhl has only played six minutes in the WSL so far this season.

The loan would reunite her with coach Brian Sorensen, who gave her her debut in Denmark.
