‘Absolutely love’: Graham Roberts amazed by one Tottenham Hotspur defender

Graham Roberts has praised Tottenham Hotspur duo James Maddison and Cristian Romero for their performances against Bournemouth.

The former Tottenham Hotspur player has said on Twitter that he loved the way Argentina international central defender Cristian Romero and England international attacking midfielder James Maddison played against Bournemouth away from home in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Tottenham beat Bournemouth 2-0.

Maddison opened the scoring for the North London club on 17 minutes.

Dejan Kulusevski added a second on 63 minutes.

Maddison started the match as the playmaker-in-chief in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Romero started at the back.

The Argentine was brilliant defensively and was a rock at the back for Tottenham.

Romero dealt well with the power of Dominic Solanke, made some timely headers, made the right tackles at the right time, and was a leader in defence.

As for Maddison, the England international playmaker was one of the best players on the pitch.

What a different side we look and absolutely love how @CutiRomero2 is playing. And this man @Madders10 absolutely could not have hand picked a better more Tottenham player myself.
