Tottenham is at it again, obviously this is what know best 🥺

- Arsenal legend Ian Wright has admitted his surprise at seeing Tottenham’s Eric Dier linked with a move to Bayern Munich this weekend.
Dier is well down the pecking order at Tottenham under Ange Postecoglou. The Spurs boss even admitted last night his team could do without Dier, even after seeing Ben Davies injured.
However, Dier is somehow on the verge of signing for Bayern Munich. Reports have claimed he’s verbally agreed to join Thomas Tuchel over in Germany.
And speaking about the potential deal on ITV last night, Ian Wright admitted his surprise.
Acknowledging the deal and what it means for Dier, former Gunners striker Wright admitted it was a ‘huge’ deal and conceded that for Dier, it was a massive move.
“Of course it is (huge). At this stage of his career. You know he’s struggling to get in the Tottenham side. To get linked with Bayern Munich, of course, something that, if it is rumours you hope for his sake it might be true because he doesn’t look like he’s going to get a sniff here,” Wright said.
Dier is into his tenth year at Tottenham having signed all the way back in 2014.
The England man has played in both defence and midfield during his time with the club, and was a key player in Mauricio Pochettino’s Champions League final side.
This is quite the move for Eric Dier if he does get it. To land a transfer to a club like Bayern after not featuring at all this season is quite something.
In a way, it is lucky for the experienced defender. On the other hand, some might argue that after such a long career he might deserve one last hurrah with a giant club.
Either way, this is good for Dier if it comes off. Few players get the chance to play for such a huge club and he’ll link up with his pal Harry Kane in doing so.
