NN Week 18 Prediction Contest: 49ers and Rams sit the starters in final game

We have finally made it to Week 18 and seemingly the majority of the NFL is sitting their starters. So let’s have fun with these impossible picks.

Here are Marc’s picks:

Ravens over Steelers: I’m breaking the formula here picking against Tomlin when the Ravens are sitting everyone, but I like Tyler Huntley enough to pick some mayhem.

Texans over Colts: C.J. Stroud is back, and that means the Texans are formidable.

Falcons over Saints: The Saints haven’t earned being as heavy favorites as they are in this game. They’ll probably win, but +140 is favorable enough for me to lean Atlanta.

Jaguars over Titans: The Jaguars have been frustrating, but they still have the talent to take care of business here.

Vikings over Lions: The Lions are playing their starters, but I’m skeptical Dan Campbell won’t pull the plug early.

Jets over Patriots: You know I was taking whoever was the underdog here.

Bucs over Panthers: Carolina is in such bad shape that their owner was the biggest story on the team this week.

Bengals over Browns: Cincy ain’t a contender without Burrow, but they’ve proven they can handle their business. Cleveland is sitting everyone, which should make it easy.

Seahawks over Cardinals: Kyler Murray’s dynamism will cause Seattle some problems, but I think Pete Carroll ends the season on a high note.

Packers over Bears: Matt Eberflus may be able to stifle Jordan Love, but the Packers quarterback has been a different player in recent weeks. I think he gets it done.

Eagles over Giants: Now if Philly really wants to get the fanbase riled up…

Rams over 49ers: Who knows what to expect from a second-string game, I’ll take the +164.

Raiders over Broncos: Two bad teams in very different mental places heading into Week 18.

Chargers over Kansas City: Kansas City just has not been a deep squad this season, so sitting starters seems like it could have a bigger effect on them.

Cowboys over Commanders: It’s a mess in Washington.

Dolphins over Bills: The Bills are a better team, but the Dolphins have heard a lot of noise and need this win more. I think they pull out the upset.
