SAD NEWS :Nick Saban report bad news about Alabama key player…….

Nick Saban updates status of injured Alabama wide receiver, linebacker

Alabama coach Nick Saban provided an update to a pair of injured players after Saturday’s win overKobe Prentice, Alabama, Wide Receiver

Saban said outside linebacker Quandarrius Robinson is “fine” after he exited the 66-10 victory in the fourth quarter with a stinger. Wide receiver Kobe Prentice missed Saturday’s game with a strained hamstring from practice.

“He probably could’ve played in the game,” Saban said. “But you always risk re-injury in those things, so hopefully in the next few days he’ll get his strength back up so that’s not a risk. That’s why he didn’t play today.”

Prentice, a sophomore, played in the first 10 games this season. He ranked third on the team with 282 receiving yards on 16 catches. That included a 40-yard touchdown against Kentucky last week.

Also not playing Saturday was cornerback Earl Little. A redshirt freshman, Little had his right arm in a sling as he watched pregame warmups. Little has played almost exclusively special teams this season in nine appearances. He could be a candidate to replace Malachi Moore as Alabama’s starting STAR next season.

Three other players did not participate in Saturday’s game. Safety Jaylen Key (quad) dressed in full uniform for senior day but did not play; linebacker Deontae Lawson (ankle) and wide receiver Ja’Corey Brooks (shoulder) were also held out.
