‘Incredible’ – Michael Owen stunned by Everton ace as ‘Dangerous’ footage emerges v C. Palace
Michael Owen was thrilled by what he saw as footage emerged of Amadou Onana in the Everton v Crystal Palace clash on 19 February.
Jordan Ayew’s 66th minute goal looked to be enough to secure the three points but the Belgian had other ideas.
Speaking on the Premier League Productions’ post-match show (19 February, 10:09pm) Owen said: “The height he got there was incredible, wasn’t it? When you’ve got somebody who can jump that high, then why not? It was a dangerous ball in.”
These kinds of chances are bread and butter for Dominic Calvert-Lewin but he’s on a prolonged goal-scoring drought.
He has been criticised by his former teammate and Owen for it and he knows that this cannot continue.

Onana’s towering header showcased his aerial prowess and his overall performance highlighted why he’s attracting interest from clubs like Newcastle and Arsenal.
His ability to rise above defenders and convert set-piece opportunities into goals is a valuable asset for any team.
However, it’s important to note that Onana cannot be relied upon solely as a goal scorer.
While his contributions in attack are commendable, Everton’s attacking players, including Calvert-Lewin, need to step up and share the goal-scoring burden.
