Everton stadium: New footage of Bramley-Moore Dock has dropped, it’s incredible
Everton finally seem to be playing a brand of football worthy of their shiny new arena on the banks of the River Mersey. At last.
It has been a real point of contention in recent years, with genuine fears that the longstanding joke regarding it being the best stadium in the Championship at times seeming a very serious threat.
Well, Sean Dyche has since gone about expunging that suggestion, having led his side to seven points clear of the relegation zone this season, and only set to continue soaring.
The football is efficient and incisive, and crucially embodies everything that Evertonians want in their club. With a hard-working core and a sprinkling of talent, the sky truly is the limit for the Toffees in the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.
In fact, the aerial shots captured by the drone of X user Mark Thomas allows us to see the progress made on the roof, which is seemingly nearing completion too. It is a truly magnificent structure boasting many quirks, and one which Everton can be proud to call their new home.
Likely one of the big reasons behind all the permission Everton were granted to begin construction on the Bramley-Moore Dock stadium was their plans to handle Goodison Park once they had left.
After all, it would have been hard to turn down the Goodison Legacy Project, given how it plans to revolutionise the area.
The space the Old Lady has occupied will instead be converted into a number of integral facets for the community, such as affordable social housing, a community health and medical centre, an education centre, offices and more.
It is a multi-million-pound plan, and one expected to be completed in 2026.
However, that construction has been pushed back by six months, with recent news having emerged detailing the proposed move-in date for the new stadium.
The construction was expected to be finished around this time next year, but clearly favouring sentimentality over additional commercial opportunities, they will wait until the 2025/26 season to begin playing their football there.
Given how Dyche has got Everton playing of late, and the stunning upward trajectory they are enjoying, by that stage, they could finally be at a level worthy of one of England’s finest arenas.
