Jamie Redknapp obsessed with Everton reveal live on Sky Sports
Jamie Redknapp has revealed he loves the level of attention to detail Sean Dyche puts into his Everton team after they beat Burnley 2-0 at Turf Moor on 16 December.
This was after it was shown that Everton top the charts in terms of set-piece goals, having scored ten this season which amounts to 45% of their total Premier League goals.
Redknapp was fascinated by the stat, sharing how he admires the level of organisation and attention to detail that goes into the set-piece preparation, and how the players also buy into it.

Speaking live on Sky Sports, as shared by their Twitter account [16 December], Redknapp gushed: “This is attention to detail – I love it. I think this shows you everything Sean Dyche is about.
“Make no mistake, his teams can play as well, but when you’re organising and you’ve got people doing things the right way, you’re going to cause so many teams problems.
“That’s credit to the manager, credit to the players, to make sure they’re disciplined on the training field… That’s why they’re doing this so well.”
Work on the training ground pays off
Dyche is notoriously strict on the training ground, paying close attention to the way his players act, their body language, and even what they are wearing, but when the results are as clear to see as this, nobody can doubt his methods.
Set-pieces have been worth a massive ten goals already to Everton this season, proving how much of a difference it can make to your season, and with 45% of their total goals coming from these situations, it is a crucial part of how they set themselves up.
In games where they may struggle to score from open play, Everton will know that every corner or free kick in a dangerous area could provide them with the opportunity they are waiting for – and in the Premier League that can be vital.
It is a testament to Dyche that his work on the training ground is paying off, and it will likely be just as pleasing to the boss as it is to Redknapp to see the fruits of his labour playing out and winning them points.
