With Early Signing Day now less than two weeks away, Tennessee is hosting a pair of official visitors this weekend. One of the Vols’ top remaining targets in the 2024 class is back in Knoxville to take a closer look at Tennessee before making his final college decision, while a tight end in the transfer portal starting exploring his options by traveling to Knoxville.

The Vols are hosting Class of 2024 cornerback Jaren Sensabaugh, a former Vanderbilt commitment from Ensworth School in Nashville, Tenn., and Notre Dame tight end Holden Staes on official visits this weekend. Sensabaugh is among the targets Tennessee is hoping to add to its 2024 class, while Staes has emerged as a priority target for the Vols since adding his name to the transfer portal on Monday coming off his sophomore season with the Fighting Irish.

Heupel checks on elite linemen, makes in-home visit with Vols QB commit

Entering the final days of the contact period, Tennessee’s coaches have continued to visit players in several different states

Tennessee coach Josh Heupel and his staff have continued to cover plenty of ground this week in the final days of the contact period leading up to Early Signing Day. Heupel spent time in three different states Wednesday to check on a pair of highly ranked offensive-line targets and the Vols’ incoming quarterback commitment.

Heupel traveled to Providence Day School in Charlotte, N.C., the home of five-star Class of 2025 offensive tackle David Sanders Jr., one of Tennessee’s top targets in the 2025 class. Sanders visited the Vols in June to participate in one of their camps, and he returned to Knoxville last month to attend Tennessee’s home game Nov. 18 against Georgia.
