Everton fans will be licking their lips as cup run on the cards after what happened recently
Everton have certainly not been at their best at home this season, much to the frustration of the Goodison Park faithful.
Fortunately for the travelling fans, things have been much better on the road, with the Toffees clinching another away win at Nottingham Forest on Saturday (2 December).
That followed the recent wins on the road against West Ham and Crystal Palace, with the Merseyside club having also defeated Brentford away from home this season.
Such victories away from Goodison Park have not been left for the Premier League alone, however, with Everton defeating both Doncaster Rovers and Aston Villa on the road in the League Cup.
Unfortunately they now have a home match with Fulham in the quarter-final of that competition, but fortunately the Toffees have been drawn away from home in the FA Cup.
As per the official Everton X account (3 December), Dyche’s side will make the trip to Crystal Palace in the third round of the famous competition.
The fact that the game is away from home should be enough to convince Toffees fans that a win is very possible, but they can take extra confidence from their recent victory at Selhurst Park.
The Merseyside club played the Eagles there in the Premier League just last month, leaving London with all three points thanks to a late winner from Idrissa Gueye.
Dyche will, of course, be desperate to turn his club’s fortunes on home soil around, but the boss will not want their ability to pick up wins away from Goodison to change anytime soon.
