You’ve got to see Brock Purdy unleash this bomb of a pass to Brandon Aiyuk

Brock Purdy tossed a 66-yard touchdown pass to George Kittle last week, a personal record, but the quarterback just beat it by finding Brandon Aiyuk.

For those who think San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy doesn’t have a strong arm, you might want to check out what the second-year signal-caller has done in back-to-back weeks.

In Week 10 on the road against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Purdy hit tight end George Kittle for a 66-yard touchdown during the Niners’ 34-3 rout of the Jags.

That was a personal best for Purdy, as far as longest touchdown throws go.

However, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in town for a Week 11 tilt, Purdy decided it’d be best to double down on setting personal records for long touchdown throws.

All he needed was a friend in wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk.

San Francisco was up 13-7 in the third quarter against a feisty and tough Bucs defense and had to start a drive from its own 2-yard line.

After getting a first-down conversion to Kittle, Purdy then looked Aiyuk’s way on a deep-bomb pass that connected and turned into a 76-yard score for the 49ers:

Thanks to some nifty route-running by Aiyuk, one of the YAC Bros., Purdy was able to beat his own personal best with the 76-yard touchdown pass, his second passing TD of the day.

That score put the 49ers up 20-7 and helped push the momentum back in their favor with the prospect of improving to 7-3 on the season.
