Lionesses captain Leah Williamson and Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin were among the stars from the sporting world turned out in their number to celebrate GQ’s Men of the Year Awards in London on Wednesday evening.
The Arsenal star is currently working herself back to fitness after rupturing her ACL in April, but joined up with her international team-mates at the glamorous event which saw a number of her peers honoured by the Conde Nast publication.
Williamson posed alongside Manchester City’s Chloe Kelly and Manchester United’s Mary Earps – who was honoured at the awards – as well as linking up with former England international, pundit Alex Scott.
The trio were joined by male footballers not taking part in international duty, including Calvert-Lewin and another honouree Wrexham striker Paul Mullin.
Last season’s FA Cup top scorer was put on standby by Wales manager Rob Page during the previous international break, but Mullin is yet to receive a full call-up following his heroics with the Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney-owned side.

Instead, Mullin could take in the glittering event alongside his wife Mollie, with the pair posing up a storm on the red carpet ahead of the festivities at the Royal Opera House.
Gary Lineker, who was honoured by the publication at the night’s awards, and Ian Wright were also in attendance, as were representatives from the worlds of cricket, athletics, and boxing in the form of Stuart Broad, honouree Katarina Johnson-Thompson and Joe Joyce.
Fresh from England’s Rugby World Cup semi-final heartbreak in Paris, Saracens lock Maro Itoje sported a chic grey sweater paired with a matching cape, but saw his fashion-forward outfit somewhat upstaged by Olympic diver Tom Daley.
The Tokyo gold medal-winner creatively paired his Dior suit and pink sweater with leopard-print loafers by the French fashion house, and matching pink socks.

But one notable face from the world of football who opted not to make the journey was Jenni Hermoso, honoured this year by the international magazine franchise for her role in Spain’s women’s World Cup victory and subsequent handling of the ensuing ‘kiss-gate’ scandal.
Hermoso was forcibly kissed by then-Spanish FA (RFEF) president Luis Rubiales, and despite the federation at first denying that the kiss was unconsensual, the No 10 later spoke up and sparked a chain of events that saw Rubiales suspended by FIFA and pressured into resigning his position with RFEF.
Rubiales was later banned from football-related activity for three years by world football’s governing body.
