After this international break’: Tottenham sent positive double injury update on duo

‘Alasdair Gold has shared that Bryan Gil is ‘almost there’ and he could be ready to play for Tottenham Hotspur following the conclusion of this international break.

Before the start of the new Premier League season, Bryan Gil, who was on-loan at Sevilla last season, underwent surgery after being in ‘discomfort for a while’.

Well, Football London journalist Gold provided a positive update on the 22-year-old and how he could be back in Tottenham colours again, sooner rather than later, as he told his own YouTube channel.

But Gil isn’t the only Spurs player back on the road to recovery, midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur is pushing for a November return.

Back in February, Bentancur suffered an ACL injury, which has kept him on the sidelines for a long period of time.

But now that long wait, for the player himself and the Spurs supporters, is finally coming to an end, with Gold providing an injury update on the above duo.

Gil and Bentancur nearing returns from injuries

“Postecoglou said ‘November is the hope’ with Bentancur,” said Gold. “Bryan Gil seems to be almost almost there or certainly after this international break.”

Bentancur has been a huge miss

Months after Bentancur’s injury, Antonio Conte proceeded to leave Tottenham and the club’s season just descended into pure chaos.

The all-action midfielder proved to be a huge loss in the middle of the park, but now fans probably can’t wait for him to be added to this quite stunning mix being served up by Ange Postecoglou.

You would imagine, when fit and firing, the Uruguay international starts every day of the week, which just makes this ever-growing, revamped and refreshed Tottenham midfield even stronger.
