Liverpool want to beat Manchester clubs and Chelsea to announce “astronomical” signing in 2024

Liverpool want to make exceed expectations with a move to sign Kylian Mbappe amid Real Madrid’s decision to end their interest in the Frenchman.
With the La Liga outfit no longer planning a transfer for Mbappe, it has opened the door for him other clubs, including Liverpool, to consider their chances of hiring his services.
A report from SPORT claims Liverpool are the “best positioned” to sign the 24-year-old World Cup champion while Football Insider doubts their chances.
Pete O’Rourke writes for FI that he doubts Madrid have ended their interest either but on Liverpool’s interest, he writes: “Liverpool are long-term admirers of the World Cup winner and are likely to be in the mix – but I’m told it is doubtful he could afford a deal.”
Whenever Mbappe has been linked with a move to Liverpool, it has always been dependent on Mohamed Salah leaving at the end of the season to generate the funds needed.
Well, recently David Ornstein has hinted that the Egyptian might not leave the Reds in spite of huge interest from Saudi Arabia as Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool rebuild as part of the new era on Merseyside.
Four midfielders were signed in the summer with more signings to come in January and in the next summer transfer window in 2024.
Mbappe is unlikely to sign for Liverpool but then, there isn’t a club, aside from Madrid, that are truly in with a chance to sign the PSG attacker.
However, there has been a groundswell of reports linking him with a move to Liverpool. Read more below.
