Club now ready to sell ‘world-class’ player just months after joining from Liverpool

Al-Hilal are reportedly ready to sell Roberto Firmino just mere months after the attacker joining the Saudi Arabia club from Liverpool.

According to TeamTalk, the Middle Eastern club are ready to offload the Brazilian international having only just signed Firmino in the summer.

Lauded by Jurgen Klopp as a ‘world-class’ player, Firmino left Liverpool this year as a club legend having led the Reds to the 2020 Premier League title and the 2019 UEFA Champions League.

However, since swapping Merseyside for Saudi Arabia, things have not gone to plan for Firmino, with the attacker struggling greatly for form out in the Middle East.

The forward has managed just three goals in 13 matches for Al-Hilal, and Firmino could now find himself out of the club heading into January.

Indeed, interest won’t be low in Firmino should a return to Europe become an option in 2024, and the Liverpool legend could find himself back on the continent sooner than expected.

Few were sold on the idea of a player as good as Firmino swapping the Premier League for Saudi Arabia, yet a return to Europe could now be possible.

Whilst things haven’t worked out in Saudi Arabia, the Brazilian forward is clearly good enough to still play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.

And returning to a Champions League could be possible, with Firmino no doubt having admirers from across Europe if Al-Hilal were to actually sell the forward.
